Ricardo Morado

MoradoRicardoRicardo Morado joined the precursor to this law firm in 1984 after obtaining his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and his law degree from Harvard University. His practice focuses primarily in civil defense litigation and the representation of businesses and local governmental entities. Mr. Morado served as Mayor of the City of San Benito from 1998 to 2002 and as a member of its City Commission from 1987 to 1989. He is licensed to practice before all state courts in Texas, all federal courts in the Southern District of Texas, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of the United States.


    He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Texas Association of Defense Counsel, the Defense Research Institute, the Cameron County Bar Association and the Hidalgo County Bar Association.


    Primary areas of practice include personal injury defense, government law, business law, school law and employment law.
