Practice Areas

Zeke is a son of the Rio Grande Valley, born in Pharr, Texas. He is a seasoned insurance defense attorney and former U.S. Army Captain with combat experience in Iraq and Afghanistan. He represents insurance companies, business owners, physicians, and healthcare institutions in complex legal matters, focusing on personal injury defense, medical malpractice, premises liability, trucking litigation, and commercial disputes.

Before his legal career, Zeke commanded 120 U.S. Army infantrymen and women in a remote forward operating base (F.O.B.) in Kunduz, Afghanistan. While engaged in counterinsurgency operations (COIN), he honed his use of the military principle of “shaping the battlefield”—a strategy to weaken threats, control the environment, and position forces for success.

As a former Armor officer with three combat tours, Zeke relied on the Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield (IPB) process to assess risks and anticipate enemy actions. He now applies this same strategic discipline through his Litigation Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield (L-IPB) process—analyzing opponents, evaluating legal terrain, and developing proactive defense strategies to secure the best outcomes for his clients.

Zeke’s ability to dissect cases with precision and deliver results-driven strategies has earned him the trust of insurers and business leaders. His deep understanding of the law and his systematic approach to litigation allow him to mitigate risks and drive favorable resolutions.

When he’s not advocating for clients, he enjoys spending time with his wife of 22 years, their two children, Aiden and Ada, and their dogs, Thor and Bruno.
