Zeke Moya is a proud son of the Rio Grande Valley, born in Pharr, Texas. He is a seasoned insurance defense attorney and former U.S. Army Captain with combat experience in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Zeke represents insurance carriers, business owners, physicians, and healthcare institutions in complex civil litigation, with a focus on personal injury defense, medical malpractice, premises liability, trucking litigation, and commercial disputes.
Before entering the legal profession, Zeke commanded more than 120 U.S. Army infantry soldiers at a remote forward operating base (FOB) in Kunduz, Afghanistan. There, in the heart of counterinsurgency operations, he refined his use of the military doctrine of “shaping the battlefield”- a strategic approach aimed at controlling conditions, neutralizing threats, and setting the stage of success.
As an Armor officer with three combat tours, Zeke also mastered the Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield (IPB) process to assess risks, anticipate enemy actions, and guide mission-critical decisions. Today, he brings that same discipline to the courtroom through what he calls “Litigation Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield (L-IPB)” – a proactive framework for analyzing opponents, evaluating legal terrain, and crafting strategies that deliver results.
Known for his precision, discipline, and tactical insight, Zeke has earned the trust of insurers and business leaders across Texas. His comprehensive approach to litigation minimizes exposure, sharpens the defense, and consistently positions clients for favorable outcomes.
Outside the courtroom, Zeke enjoys spending time with his wife of 22 years, their two children, Aiden and Ada, and their two dogs, Thor and Bruno.
